Great site! I am completely new to voiceovers. I’ve never had a gig in my life. I have recorded music mos of my life and went to a small recording school (not a university unfortunately).
I was wondering how I could practice or even get a gig that I could do for free, to gain a portfolio. I can read well and I have decent equipment (Presonus Firestudio 8-bus input) Rode Mic NT1-A.
I have studio monitors as well. It was originally used for music, but I would like to learn if doing voice over work could be a career for me.
I’m currently laid off.
